CE Cantwell & Associates a Brattleboro, Vermont based electronic discovery and IT Security Consulting firm, has established the Southern Vermont Digital Forensics Laboratory (SVDFL), a state of the art computer forensic laboratory located in southern Vermont but serves the entire United States. A computer forensic laboratory is a highly specialized facility that provides forensic examinations of digital media, such as computers and cell phones, in support of litigations and/or prosecutions. The new laboratory space includes offices, a state-of-the-art computer forensics lab, and uses EnCase and FTK forensic software - recognized and used by the courts and law enforcement, plus a secure storage vault for electronic evidence and equipment.
